Jess started working for Yorkshire Tennis when Advantage Yorkshire began. The administration of this project along with the website and Social Media Outlets are all updated by Jess. Jess joined Yorkshire Tennis on the back of her role within the LTA North team and brings a background of general tennis administration to the role. She is also a Yorkshire Tennis Councillor for South Yorkshire.
Alongside Jess’ Yorkshire Tennis role she will be found coaching at her local tennis club and surrounding schools in Sheffield. Jess still plays competitive tennis in Sheffield and sits on the Sheffield & District Committee.
Alison started working as County Administrator on a self employed part time basis four years ago.
Alison has a wealth of experience in the sports sector, including service with Sheffield City Council which facilitated the opportunity to be involved in the management of the Tennis Competition for the World Student Games in 1991. Alison spent 12 years at Graves Tennis Centre working on the Tennis Development scheme, which saw her involved both on and off court undertaking a number of different roles, including coaching, refereeing, supporting players and parents and undertaking a range of administrative tasks. Latterly Alison has carried out a Coach Education role, prior to taking up an Operations Director role with a National Governing Body of Sport.
Yorkshire Tennis is very forward thinking and Alison enjoys her role in the organisation.
