Advantage Yorkshire

Grants

The fourth funding round for Advantage Yorkshire small grants is now closed. You can now complete a new application for the next round and a deadline date will be given soon. Applicants should carefully read the guidance notes and FAQs, BEFORE completing the online application.

Financial support is available for any Club that has been a member of Yorkshire Tennis for at least 12 consecutive months. All applicant Clubs will be required to prove that they meet the LTA minimum standards for safeguarding.

Grants may be used for a wide range of purposes, including coach development, school club links, and small scale facility projects. We particularly hope that you will give serious thought to making your Club more inclusive.

Work started or committed prior to formal acceptance of the terms of any grant will not be eligible for financial support from Yorkshire Tennis.

Loans

The fourth funding round for Advantage Yorkshire loans is now closed. You can now complete a new application for the next round and a deadline date will be given soon. Applicants should carefully read the guidance notes and FAQs, BEFORE completing the online application.

Loans of up to £5,000 do not need match funding. Loans from £5,000 to £25,000 will require graduated levels of match funding up to a maximum of 30% match at the upper level. Subject to a Club meeting all its scheduled repayments on time and delivering the promised benefits from the project, the final 20% of the loan may be written off as a grant. (This 20% facility will apply to all existing outstanding loans). This provision is however subject to the discretion of the Yorkshire Tennis Treasurer and will depend on the financial positions of YT at the time that the final repayment becomes due. It should not be relied on as a certainty in your financial projections.

Work started or committed prior to formal acceptance of the terms of any loan will not be eligible for support from Yorkshire Tennis.

Applications may be submitted but will NOT be formally judged until the next CCCS meeting and awards will be made on budget availability.
