Huddersfield Tennis Club once again hosted the Yorkshire Senior County Championships 2024.
Slightly down on previous years, 55 entries participated in the following events:
Men’s Singles 35+ 40+ 45+ 50+ 55+ 60+
Ladies Singles 35+
Men’s Doubles 50+
Ladies Doubles 50+
Mixed Doubles 55+
Some excellent tennis was played throughout the week with play commencing every weekday from 3pm and Saturday morning from 9.30am.
Referee Becky Lee said ” Its a great event and those who enter LOVE IT. More club players should enter and give it a go”. Next year’s venue is still be decided as the original plan was for the event to move around the County every 3 years.
