Matthew Brough and Emily Clarke from York, competed in the Special Olympics in Berlin from the 17th-25th June and what a week it was for them!
Matthew bringing home the GOLD medal in the Men’s Final and also winning the BRONZE medal with Emily in the mixed doubles, who had also contested for bronze in the Women’s singles and finishing fourth.
We’re all so proud of the pair who showed grit and determination whilst competing and coming home with medals was the cherry on top! Well done to both of you it’s such a huge achievement and you both deserve to show it off.
