Communities Engagement Committee
The Yorkshire Tennis Board have recently reconfigured its supporting committees to form a Communities Engagement Group with the aim of broadening the appeal to minority groups. An area that we are particularly keen on, is supporting uptake of tennis amongst minority ethnic groups in the same way that we have seen a positive uptake across the region by championing tennis uptake amongst those with a disability.
There are already some great examples of outreach tennis in parks across Yorkshire and we are keen to further develop such programmes.
To support these objectives, we would like to hear from passionate volunteers who possess both a love for tennis and a few hours a month to join our committee and support our exciting objectives.
