Northern Women's Tennis Day at Lexus Ilkley Open

Featuring special guest speaker Yasmin Clarke
Yasmin Clarke has been announced as the keynote speaker at the Northern Women in Tennis Day, taking place at the Lexus Ilkley Open in June (8/6/26).
 
Yasmin is a Level 5 Master Performance Coach and former professional tennis player, now coaching adults and juniors at David Lloyd Derby. She is also an Athlete Mentor for the Youth Sport Trust, a mentor on the LTA Female Coach Engagement Programme, and now works as a consultant at Women in Sport across multiple projects.
 
As a player, she competed at Wimbledon and became British Junior National Champion, representing Great Britain at junior level. Since moving into coaching, she has guided a player to an ATP world ranking of No153 and supported numerous athletes in securing scholarships to American universities. In December she was appointed to the board of the LTA.
 
Bringing together the female tennis workforce across Cheshire, Cumbria, Durham & Cleveland, Northumberland, Lancashire and Yorkshire, the Northern Women’s Tennis Day is a unique networking event is appropriate for coaches, referees, club volunteers and anyone else working within the tennis community.
