The annual match between Yorkshire and the International Club of GB took place at Ilkley on Saturday 7th September. The Yorkshire players who played on the day included Cath Davies (Berry), Karen Mitchell, Claire Morrell, Andy Hutchinson, Paul Layfield, Richard Hutchinson, Cord Spilker and Gareth Hutchinson. The Yorkshire players had a total of more than 60 years of county week experience between them!
The standard of tennis was amazing with the IC of GB winning the event 4-2.
The IC players who hadn’t visited Ilkley were amazed by the facilities of Ilkley lawn tennis and squash club and the hospitality of the staff.
