The history of tennis in Yorkshire is not widely accessible as records are currently dispersed in many printed and written documents spread around the county. The Yorkshire Tennis Archive attempts to bring together those records and create a resource that tells the story of tennis in the county – the players, competitions, clubs and administrators who have contributed to the success of Yorkshire Tennis – and which is accessible to everyone. This is work in progress and it will take some time to create a comprehensive record.
