Martin Jesper is a highly experienced boardroom executive within elite sporting environments and SMEs. He brings a wealth of strategic, financial and governance credentials from a range of sectors and organisational structures.
Originally qualifying as a chartered accountant, for the last 20 plus years Martin has worked as an accredited, independent business performance improvement professional – with his achievements recognised nationally in 2025 through winning a prestigious national Community Impact Turnaround of the Year Award.
Martin loves sport! He currently oversees the operational delivery and multi-stakeholder relationships for all events held at York’s LNER Community Stadium whilst also managing to play tennis and/or padel three to four times per week.
