In the lead-up to National Inclusion Week 2024 (23rd – 29th September), the LTA will be launching several new EDI (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) resources.
Here’s what to expect:
All EDI online modules will be free of charge during Inclusion Week and permanently beyond the week on the LTA website, under ‘find a course’ section.
Three practical coaching courses will be reduced by 50% until the end of the year with links available via the venue support toolkit on 23rd September:
- How to Coach the Person and Not the Disability: previously Disability Awareness
- Physical, Tactical, and Technical Tools for Coaching Female Padel.
- Coaching Female Players: From Physique to Technique.
New EDI venue resources which will land on Venue Support Toolkit from National Inclusion Week:
EDI Venue Policy template (to be included as part of venue registration).
EDI Champion role descriptor, including a whole committee descriptor.
EDI Calendar: Celebrating Inclusion Moments – a resource to help Counties, Venues, and the Workforce celebrate key inclusion moments like International Women’s Day and Pride.
