I have spent all my adult life either working or volunteering in Tennis resulting in a wealth of experience.

I retired from my role as Yorkshire Tennis Administrator in 2023, however I knew that I didn’t want to detach myself from a sport I remain passionate about despite no longer being able to play!

Following a conversation with Chris French (Club Engagement Lead) I was very soon getting stuck in to my role as South Yorkshire Club Champion. I have met with and spoken to a number of clubs in recent months who I have successfully been able to support.

Any South Yorkshire clubs in need of support with club related issues, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Jess has been playing competitive tennis for 25 years and has been heavily involved in developing tennis participation in her local area and across the wider Yorkshire region. Jess’ main role is a Tennis Coach at Fulwood Lawn Tennis Club in Sheffield. Her passion is encouraging grass roots tennis from tots to veterans. Alongside her coaching role Jess works for Yorkshire Tennis administering projects and overseeing the website and social media platforms.

Jess is an ideal fit for the South Yorkshire Club Champion as her previous roles include Workforce Administrator for the LTA and Parks Manager for Sheffield. Jess has a wealth of knowledge on tennis as a whole and has made connections with clubs along her journey, this includes sitting on the Sheffield & District Committee as a volunteer from 2013-2023.

Whilst juggling all the above Jess became a mum in January 2023 and is in the midst of renovating their family home.
