Yorkshire Tennis & Padel leads and delivers tennis and padel in the county, working closely with the LTA. We are a not-for-profit company which is passionate about driving up participation and competitive performance in both our sports. In particular we support venues, coaches and volunteers across the county and aim to reach out to our least active communities.
To deliver our goals we are seeking to appoint the county’s first ever Head of Operations. The successful candidate will support the board of directors (all voluntary) and deliver the company strategy through our delivery team of paid workers and volunteers.
The Head of Operations will report to the company Chair and work with the board and with key partners, especially the LTA, but also with local authorities, clubs, coaches, funding partners and sponsors.
We’re seeking a dynamic manager who makes things happen, gets things done and motivates and inspires all those around them. A proven track record of successful management is essential. Having succeeded in a sport or tennis/padel setting is desirable.
The role is full time (37 hours) but we will consider alternative working arrangements for an exceptional candidate.
