In conjunction with our partners from the LTA, we would like to invite you to a forthcoming coaches meeting, taking place as below:
- North Yorkshire – Wednesday 28th September at 10am – 12noon at York St John University Tennis Centre.
- South Yorkshire – Thursday 13th October at 10am – 12noon at Graves Health & Sports Centre
- West Yorkshire – Thursday 20th October at 10am – 12noon at Queens Sports Club, Halifax
The meetings have been organised as part of a series of coaches meetings across Yorkshire to update the coaching workforce on a range of issues so please attend the session that is applicable to if you can attend:
- Yorkshire County Training – Sam Salt, the Yorkshire 10&U Pathway coach will provide an update on the county training structure including who it is aimed at, what the purpose of the sessions are and how to get players involved. This will also cover county Talent ID days.
- Yorkshire Inter-regional Team Events – Sam will also provide an overview of the team events between North, South, East and West Yorkshire that have been introduced this year. This will include age groups, format, frequency, and training that can be put in place to support the teams.
- LTA Update – we will provide an update on key projects currently within British Tennis, as well as a brief overview of the products available to support the delivery of tennis programmes.
- Open Forum – we will leave some time at the end of the session to discuss any other relevant issues that coaches want to raise.

Coaches that attend the meeting can apply for 1 learning credit (informal) through LTA Independent Learning.
