On Sunday, the Yorkshire Men’s 60s team were invited to play at the AELTC for a match against the club.
The Yorkshire team comprised of Andy Hutchinson,Paul Layfield,Roger Kuhlmann and Peter Vann. Gareth Hutchinson and Ian Blakeman were unavailable due to family wedding and injury. The AELTC team was a very strong team with the former British number one Andrew Castle, as well as several GB senior players. Yorkshire lost the highly competitive match 3-1 . The whole day was a great experience with the AELTC being fantastic hosts.
This was a great practice weekend for Andy Hutchinson who flies off to Mexico City next week representing GB seniors in Mexico City in the seniors world championships.
