Further Information

Promotion and Relegation
The top 8 positions on the dashboard will be awarded YPDC Status for the following year subject to YPDC Management Group Confirmation. Therefore, a Clubs Status may change from year to year based on their performance and compliance with the schemes requirements.

Payment
The Retainer is to be paid at the beginning of the year, and the incentivised payments at the end of the year.

Scheme Flexibility
This model is flexible and can at the sole discretion of YTL be adapted to meet LTA and YTL priorities including the number of YPDCs/AYPDCs, Key Performance Indicators, incentivisation, quantum, budget, categorisation and status etc.

Review
An annual review of performance will take place between YTL and YPDCs/AYPDCs and additional reviews will take place as necessary.

Termination
The Scheme will be reviewed at the end of the year and if the expected benefits are not evident YTL may decide to end or revise the scheme. If, however, the scheme is beneficial but one or two YPDCs or AYPDCs fall short of the required standard then these YPDCs and AYPDCs may lose their status which would then provide an opportunity for new YPDCs and AYPDCs to be selected.

In addition, YTL may terminate the agreement of any YPDC or AYPDC who in its view has behaved in a way that is not compatible with their Status. Examples may include Safeguarding issues, gaming the system and any other behaviour likely to bring the YPDC, AYPDC or Yorkshire Tennis into disrepute.

Governance
This scheme is managed by the Yorkshire Player Development Centre Management Group which is Chaired by Nick Fitzpatrick – Head of Performance. Where within the Group a conflict of interest arises that person must declare the conflict and where necessary will be required to step aside.

Disputes
Any disputes should be forwarded to Nick Fitzpatrick for consideration by the Yorkshire Player Development Centre Management Group.

Agreement between YTL and Club.
The YPDC/AYPDC will be required to sign an agreement to state that they accept the terms and conditions set out in the Agreement and will ensure that the money received from Yorkshire Tennis is recycled into the Coaching Programme and that Club Coaches are incentivised to develop junior players to their full potential. This must be signed by an Officer or Person within the Club with delegated authority to sign.
